Mara is one of the 15 winners of the 2016-2017 VSA Emerging Young Artists Program, presented by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Her video "To Survive" is in the exhibition, (Re)Invention, which is traveling to the following museums and galleries:
